Measure T 2024 webpage

Measure T was approved by voters in November 2006. It established the Madera County 2006 Transportation Authority and authorized a ½ cent retail transaction and use tax for 20 years (between April 1, 2007, thru March 31, 2027) specifically to fund transportation projects and programs in the County. Measure T has generated over $169 million to date and allowed the region to leverage an additional $320 million in state and federal matching funds. It is expected to generate a total of $219 million by its current sunset date in 2027.

A renewal effort is being considered for the November 2024 ballot. The draft expenditure plan, draft ordinance, polling information, and FAQs regarding board makeup can be found below. To learn more about Measure T and provide your input visit Measure T – 2024.
